Gate valves - probably the most common valves in use today, esp.where an uninterrupted flow is required, because the gate fully retracts into the bonnet, creating a minimal pressure drop, when the valve is in an open position. Gate valves are specifically intended for use in isolation applications.
Globe valves -the main advantage is that a globe valve opens more rapidly than a gate valve as the disc only needs to move a small distance from its seat to allow full flow. This is an advantage when there is the frequent operation of the valve.
The disadvantage is that the fluid has to change course, increasing the resistance to flow and generating turbulence. This results in a higher pressure drop across a globe valve than a gate valve. Globe valves are designed to close off, open up or throttle the flow in a pipeline.
The Pressure Seal Bonnet:
Another very effective type of Bonnet construction apart from the standard Bolted Bonnet type in a gate/Globe valve is the Pressure, Seal Bonnet. This construction is adopted for valves for high to very high-pressure service. The unique feature about the pressure seal bonnet is that the Body - Bonnet joints seal improves as the internal pressure in the valve increases, compared to other constructions where the increase in internal pressure tends to create leaks in the body-bonnet joint.

Uni Klinger Ukl Valve. It has been proven through various studies about process plant emission that 75% of leakages are occurring through valves in pipelines.
The leakages cause
In line with present emphasis on prevention of environmental pollution and energy saving, it is necessary to plug these leakages.
UNI KLINGER UKL Irrespective of proper selection, installation and periodic and preventive cares on conventional valves, leakages cannot be totally eliminated. Though performance seems to be satisfactory initially, they are bound to leak through gland after some operations. Selection of Bellow Sealed Valves is the only solution for this problem. Uni Klinger Ukl Thermodynamic Steam Trap. Steam has two components: 1] the latent heat useful in a process for Heat transfer, and 2] the Sensible heat in the form of condensate having only the heat content not useful in the process, rather hindering Heat transfer and causing damage to piping equipment due to its presence. Hence, there is need to remove condensate and trapped steam. This is done by Steam trap.

Thermostatic Steam trap works on the difference in Enthalpy of Steam and Condensate. A capsule attached to a Bellow filled with precise amount of a Hydrocarbon, Expands and contracts in response to the rising/lowering of Enthalpy. Thereby shutting and opening the valve. Condensate has lower Enthalpy, causing the bellow to contract and the seat to retract which opens the valve and allow discharge of condensate. The reverse happens with the steam and its higher Enthalpy.

team used for secondary heating like Coils, vessels, heat exchangers etc, generate a lot of condensate post heat transfer. This large quantity of condensate can handle by Ball Float Trap. This condensate has a substantial heat component with cost tagged to it. Also this is treated and pure water and can be used as Feed water for the Boiler, saving the cost of heating, Water Bill and Treatment chemicals. Therefore it makes sense to recycle / reuse this condensate. This function is also done by the Ball Float Trap.

UKL Piston Valve is basically Seat less and Glandless valve and by virtue of its design can replace both, the conventional type of Gate and Globe valves, with distinct advantages over them. The Klinger Piston valve works on the principle of Resilient rings in conjunction with a Metallic Stainless Steel Piston, that moves vertically between the rings, giving a Seal that is both effective as well as Durable. This sealing system gives a bubble tight shut off, equivalent if not superior to Class VI leak standards.The Sealing rings are the heart of the valves, are available in Non Asbestos, Tanged Graphite, and Graphited Asbestos varieties, to effectively handle more than 250 Industrial Media.
